Mr. Wenger is Chief Executive Officer and Managing Principal of Clairmont Capital Group and also serves as Chairman of the Investment Committee. Mr. Wenger has over 15 years of experience executing investments in real estate (most notably spending the past 8 years focused solely on sourcing, structuring and executing GP co-investment opportunities for his current and prior Funds), publicly traded securities, and has sourced and negotiated more than $1.85 billion in structured capital for owners and operators throughout the United States and abroad. Mr. Wenger is also a Principal of a Los Angeles-based real estate company focusing on entitlement and development of small lot subdivisions and multifamily communities in Southern California. In that capacity, he has overseen over $115 million worth of successful acquisition and development initiatives.
Prior to founding Clairmont Capital Group, Mr. Wenger co-founded and served as President and Investment Committee member of Township Capital, portfolio managing 37 equity co-investments across 4 investment vehicles with approximately $2.5 billion of notional real estate exposure and 14 unique operator partnerships. Prior to that, Mr. Wenger held senior positions within the Private Wealth Management divisions of JPMorgan, Merrill Lynch and Jefferies & Co. Mr. Wenger received a B.A. in Economics from the University of California, Los Angeles.
He currently resides in Bel Air, California, is a member of Young Presidents Organization (YPO), and maintains active involvement with the Boy Scouts of America organization as an Eagle Scout.
Sandor Valner has over 30 years of investment banking, merchant banking, and private equity real estate experience. Currently, Mr. Valner is an investor and an investment advisor. He was a Partner in Walton Street Capital, a global private equity real estate asset manager, where he co-founded the Latin American operations. Prior to that, he was the country head of Credit Suisse for Mexico and worked in the Corporate Finance and M&A groups of JPMorgan in New York. Mr. Valner has led more than $20 billion of capital raising, M&A and real estate investment transactions.
Mr. Valner obtained an MBA from the Stanford Graduate School of Business and an MS in Engineering from Stanford Graduate School of Engineering. He has served on numerous private, public, charitable, and family office boards and is an active member of the Young President ́s Organization.
Mr. Valner lives with his wife Monica in Los Angeles. Their children attend Stanford University and Washington University, St. Louis. He enjoys classical music and participating in triathlons.
Mr. Wilson is the Chief Underwriting Officer and Managing Director of Clairmont Capital Group. Mr. Wilson has over 20 years of experience executing public and private equity and debt transactions, mergers and acquisitions, valuations, deal structuring, business strategy, and operations in real estate and investment banking. Mr. Wilson has been involved in both public and private real estate transactions with an aggregate transaction value exceeding $13.8 billion.
Prior to joining Clairmont Capital Group, Mr. Wilson served as Senior Vice President and Head of Capital Markets for a real estate development company based in California, where he raised and structured the company’s LP and GP capital for its $200 million hotel joint venture, while also sourcing and evaluating its investment opportunities. Prior, Mr. Wilson was co-founder and Senior Managing Director of HOA Capital Advisors, LLC, where he was integral in developing a niche program to purchase and monetize non-performing debt in the homeowner and condo owner association space, as well as raising $1.0 billion in joint venture investment capital. Additionally, Mr. Wilson has been involved in several landmark real estate transactions and held various positions within the real estate investment banking groups at Cohen & Steers, Raymond James, FBR Capital Markets, Prudential Securities, The Carlton Group and Skyway Capital Partners.
Mr. Wilson received a B.S. in Operations Research from the United States Military Academy (West Point), and prior to beginning his career in finance, served the United States Army as a light infantry officer in the 101st Airborne.
Mr. Fetterman is the Chief Financial Officer of Clairmont Capital Group and also serves as a member of the Investment Committee. Mr. Fetterman oversees all accounting and operations at Clairmont. Mr. Fetterman has over 15 years of accounting and operational experience focused in asset management.
Prior to Clairmont, Mr. Fetterman served as Vice President of Finance and Operations at Clearlake Capital Group, an investment firm operating integrated businesses across private equity, credit and other related strategies. Prior to Clearlake Capital Group, Mr. Fetterman served as Assistant Controller at Canyon Partners LLC, a hedge fund specializing in value-oriented special situation investments for institutional investors. Before Canyon Partners LLC, Mr. Fetterman was a Senior Auditor at Deloitte.
Mr. Fetterman is a Certified Public Accountant and holds a B.A. in Business Administration with an emphasis in accounting from California State University, Fullerton. Mr. Fetterman resides in Los Angeles, California and enjoys hiking and playing the guitar.
Macklin Turnrose is the Director of Capital Markets and Investor Relations at Clairmont Capital Group and is dedicated to building and fostering strong relationships with Clairmont’s investment partners. Mr. Turnrose is responsible for timely investor communications as they relate to each of Clairmont’s investment platforms, promoting active offerings to the market, and assisting in the company’s strategic business development.
Prior to joining Clairmont Capital Group, Mr. Turnrose spent six years as part of CIM Group’s Investor Relations team, where he managed institutional partnerships and helped to raise capital for a variety of real estate and infrastructure investment opportunities, including open- and closed-ended funds, co-investments, and direct deals. Previously, he served as a Business Development Specialist for Moss & Company, where he was responsible for sourcing syndicated capital for multifamily acquisitions and helping to scale the company’s property management business. Mr. Turnrose started his career at Bank of America Merrill Lynch where he underwrote corporate loan facilities to middle market companies in the Pacific Northwest.
Mr. Turnrose has Series 63 and Series 7 securities licenses and received his B.A. from the University of Washington. He currently resides in Los Angeles and enjoys spending time outdoors running, golfing, and playing tennis, or at home where he enjoys cooking and cheering for his favorite sports teams.
Nicholas Burk is Senior Vice President of Clairmont Capital Group where he oversees operations and personnel, as well as focuses on sourcing and structuring new investment opportunities on behalf of Clairmont’s various investment vehicles.
Prior to joining Clairmont Capital, Mr. Burk worked alongside George Raveling, the International Director of Basketball for Nike, Inc. Nick managed all projects, investments, and day-to-day operations related to Mr. Raveling. Mr. Burk also previously worked at Township Capital, a real estate firm founded by Clairmont’s CEO to focus on co-GP equity investments. Additionally, Mr. Burk operates his own real estate investment company, concentrated on the acquisition of distressed single-family homes, apartments, and condominiums in greater Los Angeles.
Mr. Burk received a B.S. in Business Administration from the University of Southern California. He currently resides in Los Angeles, California and enjoys playing basketball, traveling and fine cigars.
Michael Guzman is Vice President of Clairmont Capital Group, leading the Firm’s asset management efforts. In addition to overseeing the asset management of current portfolio investments, Mr. Guzman is actively involved in sourcing, analyzing, structuring and executing new investment opportunities.
Before joining Clairmont, Mr. Guzman held positions at Oracle, Morgan Stanley and Homewood Capital Management. Mr. Guzman also founded a company that raises donations for non-profit organizations.
Mr. Guzman received a B.A. from the University of California, Los Angeles. He was a member of the UCLA Tennis Team, which won three PAC-12 Championships and reached a team-high ranking of #1 in the NCAA. He currently resides in Brentwood, California and enjoys playing golf, tennis and skiing.
Ryan Snaguski is an Associate Analyst of Clairmont Capital Group. He is responsible for supporting the Firm’s underwriting and due diligence efforts in the review of new potential portfolio investments, maintaining portfolio tracking reports, and assisting with portfolio valuation and data aggregation.
Prior to joining Clairmont, Mr. Snaguski served as a Financial Analyst at Marvin Engineering, a global leader in the manufacturing of Alternate Mission Equipment and Aircraft Armament Equipment, where he supported the valuation and audit team. Previously, Mr. Snaguski worked at a middle-market investment bank located in Chicago.
Ryan received a B.A. in Economics from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. He currently resides in Los Angeles and enjoys surfing and hiking.
Armen Kebabchyan is the Accounting Manager at Clairmont Capital Group. He is responsible for helping maintain financials across all funds at Clairmont and is an integral part of managing capital calls and distributions.
Starting off his career as an accountant at Lowe, Armen developed a love for fund and investment accounting. He transitioned to Kayne Anderson where he grew as a fund accountant for a number of large hedge funds. Most recently, he held a position as Accounting Manager at Nimes Real Estate, where he helped build and develop the accounting platform and its various processes.
Mr. Kebabchyan received a B.S. in Accounting and a B.S. in Business Administration from the University of Southern California. He currently resides in Los Angeles where he lives with his family. His interests include watching mixed martial arts, soccer, and hockey.
Jean-Louis Guinchard is a Senior Managing Principal of RCX Capital Group with over 25 years of investment banking and private equity experience, having advised many corporate and ultra high net worth clients throughout the US and Latin America. Mr. Guinchard is a founding partner of O&A Real Estate Development Partners, a private equity real estate investment company sponsored by O’Connor Capital Partners and the Ahumada family (approximately $500 million AUM).
Previously, Mr. Guinchard was Co-Head of the Latin America Corporate, Investment, and Merchant Banking business and funds at Banc of America Securities, where he was responsible for approximately $18 billion in assets and over 800 people in eight offices, in addition to serving as Chairman of the Board for Bank of America Mexico, N.A. Mr. Guinchard was also head of the Family Wealth Advisor platform at Bank of America for Southern California and Latin America, responsible for the firm’s relationships with ultra high net worth individuals and its most important clients. Prior to this, Mr. Guinchard was Co-Head of the Mexico investment banking platforms and Head of the Latin American M&A team for Salomon Brothers Inc. and an associate at Goldman Sachs.
Mr. Guinchard has an M.B.A. from the Fuqua School of Business at Duke University and a B.B.A. & B.A. (Plan II) in Honors Economics and International Business from the University of Texas at Austin.
Mr. Guinchard was previously a member of the YPO and has served on numerous public company and charitable boards.
Dan Joseph is the President of Corridor Ventures, and a co-founder of Corridor’s property and asset management divisions. Mr. Joseph has primary responsibility for the direction, strategy, and financing of the company’s overall activities, which includes developing new relationships and growth initiatives that fit with the company’s long-term strategy to create a deeply skilled, multi-faceted real estate enterprise with client relationships and assets across the United States.
Mr. Joseph has a diverse background as a real estate entrepreneur and investor, having started four companies in the past 20 years, as well as investing in many transactions, both in real estate and across the private equity landscape. Over the course of his career, he has developed particular expertise in structuring, negotiating, and closing acquisitions, in addition to raising capital. He has been involved in the acquisition and management of over 30 companies and properties, raising hundreds of millions in equity and debt.
Mr. Joseph holds an M.B.A. from Wharton and a B.A. from Tufts University. He is a member of the Connecticut chapter of YPO, and sits on the board of The Cobb School Montessori in Simsbury, CT.
Mehmet I. Budak is the Founder/CIO of Bessley Capital LLC, a private investment office established in 2010, that invests in specialist private funds and direct equity and credit co-investments across Seed, Series A, Growth Equity, GP Stakes and Senior Loans with focus on lower middle market opportunities.
Previously, Mr. Budak held senior investment and advisory roles at Credit Suisse (Switzerland), TFO Investment Office (GCC), Marathon Asset Management (GCC), Carlyle Group (USA), and Goldman Sachs (USA).
Mr. Budak received M.B.A. degree from the Wharton School and B.S. degree from the United States Military Academy West Point.
